Ireland and Italy
A week built for the people building the next generation of accelerators, venture studios, and innovation hubs, starting in Limerick at Futura Innovation Conference, moving on to Milan for CES Unveiled, and finishing with a visit to H-Farm in Venice.
This is an invitation to build relationships, not just fill an agenda. Along the way, there's time and space for the conversations that matter most.
The stops
One week, two countries, three stops

Futura Innovation Conference
A citywide innovation gathering bringing together founders, investors, researchers, and builders across Ireland, Europe, and beyond. Venture Builders Retreat guests join as part of the broader Futura community for the full three days.
There's a pub in Limerick with our name on it! In collaboration with Funded House, Venture Builders Retreat guests will have a home base while at Futura. Less programming, more of the people you'll want to know. Open to you throughout the conference.

CES Unveiled by CTA
A single-day showcase of what's next in technology and venture, hosted by CTA at Allianz MiCo. Venture Builders Retreat guests get access and a VIP tour of select startups with Brian Comiskey, CTA's futurist.

H-Farm
A visit to H-Farm, one of Europe's leading venture builders, set on a campus in the Venice countryside. This stop is being planned for a small group, with details to follow directly to anyone joining.

Logistics
Getting there and where we're staying
Futura runs across Limerick city centre, with venues within walking distance of each other. CES Unveiled is a single day in Milan at Allianz MiCo. If you're joining both, here's how the group is planning the leg between them, and where we're staying.
Limerick
Oct 18–20 · Futura-recommended hotels
The Futura team recommends three centrally located options, all walkable to Futura venues. Book whichever suits you:
Dublin
One night, Oct 20, for the early Oct 21 flight
Still to be booked. Candidates under consideration: Clayton, Crowne Plaza, or Radisson Blu, all near the airport.
Milan
Marriott (tentative)
Currently planning to stay here, though this may change based on prenegotiated group hotel discounts we're working on. Treat as tentative until confirmed.
Limerick to Milan
The group is booked on Aer Lingus EI 0432, Dublin to Milan Linate, departing Wed 21 Oct 2026 at 07:00 and landing 10:40 local time. We looked at every option for this leg to maximize time at each stop, and landed on this one for a few reasons:
- Most reliable option on this route: a 98% on-time rate, versus frequent delays on the Ryanair alternative.
- Linate is 15 minutes from the CES venue. Every other Milan airport is 45 to 60 minutes away.
- It lets us spend all day on the 20th at Futura, then the evening in Dublin, before an early departure the next morning, the most time and sleep the schedule allows.
- Still cost effective at around $60 for the flight.
We'd recommend booking it with a flexible fare, and booking early.
Getting around
Limerick to Dublin Airport: about 2 hours by car. A private car or shuttle is the recommended option given the timing, especially for anyone traveling straight from Futura's final evening.
Milan Linate to Allianz MiCo: about 15 to 25 minutes by taxi or rideshare. No train needed for this leg given the short distance.
The Milan property and the Dublin hotel pick are still being finalized and will be confirmed and added here with booking links shortly.
See you in Limerick and Milan
